This guy made about number 6 on a count during the month of November that seems like a lot, but I would imagine some of u guys/gals have em worse!!! Let's see em.
About wiped out the whole place. Only a few chickens left. I'm not sure if they got my pigs because I have reason to believe a nearby new renter may have shot them assuming they were hogs, but we have lost cats, chickens, pigs. There are several packs around me.
Yes. I only saw 2 does with fawns this year. Have seen a pack of 3 on 3 separate occasions. Lip squeaked them to the tree one morning but they came in so fast I couldn't shoot. Coyote jihad starts Jan 6.
We used too at my buddies place, until I declared war and shot over 120 in one year off of a 200 acre tract. Now they are around in more manageable numbers.
Bad at our place in Foard County. Never really got after them but that changes as soon a deer season is over. There is no such thing as backing out and waiting on a wounded deer. If you do this is what you end up with.
We are over run with Coyotes in Houston county and I think that they have seriously affected our fawn crop. I have a FoxPro and love using it but I don't think calling alone can produce the number reductions that we need. I have tried trapping them before with dismal results for the amount of time, money and energy invested. This year I am going to try snaring. Jan thru March is when pups are born, at this time they are more active because they are busy keeping there pups fed and I intend to use this to my advantage. Coyotes have affected my hunting and I am dead serious about doing something about it, any advice on using snares or any other methods of extreme Coyote eradication would be greatly appreciated.
Terrible where I'm at. I've seen very few fawns the last couple years. There's no way I could make a dent in them with a rifle. I wish I could put out gut piles laced with poison.
