    Where To Buy American Gasoline.

    WHERE TO BUY AMERICAN GASOLINE.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW. READ ON.

Gas rationing in the 70's worked even though we grumbled about
it. It might even have been good for us!

Are you aware that the Saudis are boycotting American
products? In addition, they are gouging us on oil prices.

Shouldn't we return the favor? Can't we take control of our own
destiny and let these giant oil importers know who REALLY generates
their profits, their livings? How about leaving American Dollars in
America and reduce the import/export deficit?

An appealing remedy might be to boycott their GAS. Every time you fill up your car you
can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia . Just
purchase gas from companies that don't import their oil from the
    Saudis.

Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill up
my tank, I'm sending my money to people who I get the impression want
me, my family and my friends dead.
The following gas companies import Middle Eastern oil:

    Shell.................................... 205,742,000 barrels

    Chevron/Texaco.................... 144,332,000 barrels

    Exxon /Mobil........................ 130,082,000 barrels

    Marathon/Speedway............. 117,740,000 barrels

    Amoco.................................. 62,231,000 barrels

And CITGO oil is imported from Venezuela by Dictator Hugo Chavez who
hates America and openly avows our economic destruction! (We
pay Chavez's regime nearly $10 Billion per year in oil revenues!)

The U.S. currently imports 5,517,000 barrels of crude
oil per day from OPEC. If you do the math at $100 per barrel, that's
over $550 million PER DAY ($200 BILLION per year!) handed over to
OPEC, many of whose members are our confirmed enemies!!!!! It won't
stop here - oil prices could go to $200 a barrel or higher if we keep
    buying their product.

Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil:

    Sunoco......................... 0 barrels

    Conoco........................ 0 barrels

    Sinclair....................... 0 barrels

    BP / Phillips................ 0 barrels

    Hess. ............................. 0 barrels

    ARC0............................. 0 barrels

    Maverick......................... 0 barrels

    Flying J. .......................... 0 barrels

    Valero............................ 0 barrels

Murphy Oil USA * ............. 0 Sold at Wal-Mart , gas is from
South Arkansas and fully USA owned and produced.

    • *Not only that but they give scholarships to all children in their
town who finish high school and are legal US citizens.

All of this information is available from the U.S. Department
of Energy and each company is required to state where they get their
oil and how much they are importing.

        I appreciate your sentiment but...

that's just not how it works.

The oil is refined after it is usually mixed with other types of crude. Then the gasoline is put on a pipeline as fungible grade. After that you can't separate the source as Venezuelan, Saudi, Mexican or West Texas.

You can also check out snopes.com as they have the same article. The above has updated pricing though.

I buy at Wal-Mart when ever I can. Then I go to Valero. I actually met one of the Valero daughters. She and her husband let youth come out and hunt their ranch outside of Kerrville. They let the youth shoot and manage the herd on their 2k ac. high fence ranch. That kind of person can have my gas money.

correct. the crude gets refined by whomever, then branded with their additives, then EPA additives, then state additives. good luck.

Well it didn't paste right but this web site says other wise.

2007 Crude Oil Imports From Persian Gulf Highlights: Released on April 10, 2008
It should be noted that several factors influence the source of a company's crude oil imports. For example, a company like Motiva, which is partly owned by Saudi Refining Inc., would be expected to import a large percentage from the Persian Gulf, while Citgo Petroleum Corporation, which is owned by the Venezuelan state oil company, would not be expected to import a large percentage from the Persian Gulf, since most of their imports likely come from Venezuela. In addition, other factors that influence a specific company's sources of crude oil imports would include the characteristics of various crude oils as well as a company's economic needs. While, in general, crude oil is fungible, i.e., one crude oil can be substituted for another, many refineries are optimized by refining crude oil with specific qualities (e.g., the API gravity, the amount of sulfur in the crude oil, etc.). Also, depending on the global crude oil market condition at the time, the price difference between heavy and light crude oils varies, thus changing the economic dynamics for different refineries. Therefore, many factors determine the source of a company's crude oil imports.

If you want to gouge them back then use your credit card so they pay a fee to the credit card company. Saw it on the news last week and the guy said he was losing money selling gas because of the fee he had to pay the credit card company. Forget the cokes, chips and candy and buy gas only and they really take a hit.

That's us. Old refinery just can't handle the high sulfur, heavy crudes like arab stuff.

Tmag, I think the real person that would lose on that would be the store owner. Course there are some corporate stores, just hard to tell the difference.

The merchant pays the fee, not the oil refineries. that is the same at every establishment who runs CCs for payment, unfortunately.
