I was waiting for one of those big bucks to come in and in steps this freaky deer. I just can't let this guy walk. As I draw I notice that my clothing is hindering my draw and I can't get past my chin. Well I turn my head and push my hand with my chin to get the draw broke over. Not too stealth for a deer at 14 yards. Of course he was looking at me and I rushed my shot and hit him a little far back. I called my wife and brothers I L to help me track him, knowing this would give me about 30 minutes and done before dark. Of course when my wife shows up she gives me the "You mean we have to track this deer" thing. She hates it when they run off. We pick up the arrow and start following the blood trail. It was like a race to see who can find him first, with the wife in the lead then a B I L then the wife, and I'm in the rear just trying to keep up. After about 70 yards my wife yells" Jack found him". This is a freak that tried to grow a third beam that went straight down and made two points by his eye. It was a good way to end up a Thanksgiving Day and he got nice and cold hanging out over night. Already had some fried for supper the other night and really enjoyed it. Still looking for the big one to come in and that is a story for another time.
