Guided hunts/ game ranch ?s.

Ok my BIL is in Afghanistan and will be home for Christmas. His wife(SIL) would like to get him a hunt for Christmas. My BIL is new to huntin. I have takin varmint Huntin a time or two. And he realy liked. He really wants to et into huntin. They live in spring tx. I don't know much about game ranches or guided hunts. So to my questions which will be passed on to her. O and he would like to bring his oldest son along.

1. What's a ranch y'all would recommend. Say with in 5 hrs of Houston.

2. What's some things to look for. Good and bad.

3. Should she look at a "package" hunt or would a single hunt be cheaper/better.

That's all I got right now. Any more info would be greatly appreciated.

You should check out a management hunt at the Nooner Ranch if they have any slots left. Price is pretty much in line with everyone elses and good food and facilities.Take a camera and you may get some pictures of some of those high dollar deer he releases on the hoof.
