    Anybody try heated insoles??

I saw them in BPS the other day for $120.00. Remote controlled . If they work good, and last I would be interested. Any feedback is appreciated.

Got a pair 2 yrs ago and love them. Now my hunting partners have them too. First thing to understand tho. They only get 98.6 degrees ( body temp). The key is to regulate them on and off or high and low to keep your feet at body temp before they get too cold. If you wait too long and your feet get too cold it takes them along time to feel effective.

Mixed results overall by glancing at them.

I have some that I have had for some time(over 10 yrs) made by Rocky that take 6 D batteries. They still work great. The Thermacell with remote are good ones too, although pricey. But, for warm feet while hunting any price can be worth it especially when you have had frostbit feet before as I have.
The key thing with these and hand warmers, there needs to be air flow. Also, most importantly, our skin becomes desensitized to heat/warmth and that is the reason the thermacells only go to 98.6. Because as our feet get colder we would be incline to increase the temps and our feet could burn and it would take some time before you might even realize that. And if those feet are diabetic feet---well, major problems.
                  Hope this helps.
