A little latitude, if you will.
I'm setting here pondering the impending icepocalypse, trying to plan the right clothing layering to survive 2 hours on a forklift the next two mornings, and watching a special on Dirk Nowitski.
I'm not a basketball fan especially, but I watch. And I love Dirk. What a dude! The path he took to where he is now, and what he's done is quite remarkable. But the style, class, and attitude with which he's done it are the kind of thing that makes us watch sports.
I realize he gripes about calls and all that, I think most do to some level. But he's never been in trouble, you don't hear stories about him being mean to fans, and he's a terrible singer.....
But putting sports allegiances aside, can any sports fan NOT LOVE DIRK?
