I have a tower blind that is 12' to the floor. It is not yet enclosed nor is it anchored down. Its been standing for more than 3 months without issue..... ill this past Saturday. I was up in it doing a little work when a gust of wind blew it domedics. landed feet first and shattered my right ankle requiring several screws and plates. I had to crawl my way the few feet to my explorer then drive 2mi to the gate and meet the medics. They then transported me to a waiting chopper in Des Seminar for ride to JPS in ftw. I was home Monday afternoon.
Guys, don't beat on me to hard as I already know I'm to blame for not having the blind tied down yet.
