So, one of my good family friends is wanting to get her son a cross bow and he is 13 y/o and I am wondering on input for one to look into for a 13 y/o. Just getting him into hunting and he is getting the bug. His mom asked if I would look into it but I don't really have any knowledge on cross bows, just compounds and recurves for me. Thanks for any input!

I bought a carbon express covert cx1. A great crossbow for a first one. They're around $300-$400. I have shot other more expensive crossbows and would still take the cx1 over them. It's more compact and more accurate!Comment
