What blend/s of woll socks work best in cold weather?

In for the feedback. I ended up with the UA brand, and have been very pleased with the moisture wicking ability.

I have also had good results from ThorLo, Wigwam, and REI brand socks

Pick up some good polypro liner socks to help them work even better.
