My sisters and I finally got to hunt our new place this week. I tried to give them some lessons on aging deer and management, but when it came down to it I was so excited that they were excited, I wasn't even mad when the older of the two shot the exact buck I used as an example of what not to shoot. We got two more hunters, the rest can come later. I ended up taking a beautiful 5.5 yo 9 point on Friday. I had seen him Wednesday evening but he never came into range. Friday he gave me another opportunity and I was able to close the deal. The funny part is we got 3 bucks in order, my youngest sister got a 7, the next got a 8, and I finished it off with a 9.
