Ive heard good things about Belleville meat market but never been. I grew up just down the road from eagle lake ind I used vinceks in east bernard they are good. And while you are there grab some lunch (my favorite bbq joint)

I used Eckerman's meat market this past year and they made some delicious cracked pepper rolled summer sausage. It was not wet like so many others I have tried. Reasonable price also.979-836-8858.

Hhmmm.
Interesting all the BMM users. I used them twice and they were very slow(months) and very very expensive. The product was great though.
Maybe just bad luck.

That is odd. I have used them the last three years and the longest I have had to wait is about 10 days. If it took months then you are right...that is too long.

i dropped a doe off on a Sunday and got a call on Thursday that my meat was ready. (this was opening weekend) They have some great sausage, and good customer service. I am going to try Wiekelchecks for the next deer i get, just to give them a chance. I believe there was a post about them a couple of months ago and care packages to the Military.
