Boise is the name of our elf and he arrived via the postal service. He was waiting in the mailbox when the kids got home yesterday. We started this last year with our kids and they absolutely love it.

I've told my boys (5&8) that the smoke alarms are what Santa uses to watch them. If the light is green, he's watching. My youngest said "and it tells mommy when supper ready". Sometimes when they are acting up, all I have to do is look at the smoke alarm and shrug my shoulders like I'm talking to someone and boy do ghey straighten up. LOL
