    First deer down!

This is my first ever deer taken with a bow and I've been at it 3 years now here in Clay County. She's the daughter of a fat old nanny doe that has busted me for 2 years, and I figured if I can't get the nanny this little doe is the next best thing.
I didn't put the greatest of shots on her (gusting winds, but mostly I dropped my bow arm trying to see where I hit) but I realized it, backed out and waited, and she wasn't 120 yards from where I arrowed her.

Shooting a Carbon Express Torrid SS head. They aren't very expensive but they do the job.

Oh I've been hooked for a good while, but I guess you could say the hooks are in even deeper now. The sweetest sound is hearing the "thwack" of your arrow connecting
