Where to buy a loose diamond?

I am wanting to by a new diamond for my wife's ring. Anybody have a good place in the Houston area to get a loose diamond?

adiamor diamonds best there is. .. all gia certified with the cereal numbet cut into your Diamond (easy for insurance purpose). You can find anything in cutt...carat... clarity. .. color. .

Bluenile.com. I was nervous about the payment, shipping, and delivery, but they are totally legit. Their prices are competitive with other diamond wholesalers, but you can search by shape, cut, clarity, color, and price and view the GIA certificate online.

I also have a guy that is an independent diamond wholesaler here in Houston that made me an AWESOME deal on a 5-stone, 2 carat ring for my wife. I picked the general quality of the diamonds I wanted, and then I chose the right style. They made it up for me just like IW Marks or Klein's would, and it came out beautifully. His shop is pretty low profile, so don't expect anything fancy as far as a showroom. If interested I can get his number for you when I get back in the office on Monday.

Educate yourself before you go. Take your photo paper and spend time looking at the stone. I bought the stones for my wives ring in Vegas a the gym show
Fun trip and meet a friend that is in the biz to help me. I learned a lot and enjoyed it.
