You don't need the mesh anyway. Just take it down. And I wouldn't try it either.

Imo shoot thru mesh will change any shot except maybe a gun. With that said, I have killed deer using it. I shoot rage and I would think the blades would open early. YMMV.

A really good idea would be to use the Search function on this forum and see what ya get. Probably 500 comments that range from NEVER, to MAYBE, to it's OK. Like ElkDude said, set up your blind, get your target, climb inside and shoot at the target. See what happens.

I did some testing in my backyard with the 2 blades last summer. They all opened prematurely and flight was definitely affected. The only mech that I found that was unaffected was the NAP BloodRunner, but I didn't like them for other reasons.

If you're going to go with the mesh (which i am a big proponent of) then stick with the fixed blades...

All ended up missing and there was a 2" cut in the mesh

I would not recommend shooting this particular BH through mesh.
