As long as you lead into it with the idea of management happening after the first "pass" I see no problem with it.
The only danger is that she gets the bug and year after year just wants to shoot something that walks out.
I let my brothers hunt my property and have this problem with them. They have the itch to kill a deer, but don't spend time feeding or tending to the property and really could care less about management..
To them if it's a buck it should be fair game even though I have taken 2 huge brutes in the past 2 years and let tons of young bucks walk.
I don't mind telling my brothers to **** off, but that'd be a more difficult fight with the wifey.
