    Financial Advisor Help??

Im wanting to have a sit down with a financial advisor to go over all my finance stuff... They only places I can find are like edward jones type places that actually do or want to do all the inveating for you... imo and imo only edward jones is a joke. I have money in account with them and these account dont grow. Im fairly certain my broker just likes to get accounts going to make his management fees off of.

I want to move over some account to vanguard, as they are the best or one of the best to invest with.

I have a roth ira thats not producing and some other mutual finds that arent producing....my accounts I manage myself I average 15-35% return... they are booming making money good... I just need help with other stuff...

I'm looking for someone that can act as a guide for me and offer advice and help, not somone seeking profit off where they can put my money...

Anyone have ideas on who I need to talk to?

    Uvalde, san antonio, seguin areas...

If you are not wanting to pay fees for advise or help, invest it yourself. Any FA you talk to will charge fees unless they are personal friends doing it as a favor. Most FA look for long term growth, slow and steady. If you want quick growth invest in the stock market, but beware this is the quickest way to make or lose you money.Good luck finding someone to give you sound financial advice for free.

I think you should manage everything yourself. Do you give seminars?

I'm starting to get the feeling you aren't interested though.

Not saying yall arent out there... I just havent had good experiances with two different edward jones offices. They were nice, just never yeilded results or made me feel like they are there to help... both made me feel like they were salesman.

Id just rather deal with someone that doesnt get paid off commission.

I was getting ready to offer some free help but I'm just one of those Edward Jones Advisors that you think is only in it for themselves. Good luck!!

try Rick Edelman at ricedelman.com. Haven't used them myself but heard good things.

Not sure if you ever listen to the dave ramsey show but if you get on his web site check out his ELP endorsed local providers. I've never used it but I intend to later after I finish my debt snowball. Or just listen to his show and read his books he gives a lot of good info.
