Snipe where you been my guys in the Camo Cartel that live in NM get drawn almost every other year for that archery hunt. Cody Newt and Josey spent a week after them.Got about 80 yds from a couple that were that big and bigger. Tough hunt is all I will say. They only give life 15 rifle tags a yr.

last time I checked the tag was 1600.

Archery ibex 2 years ago.
Somehow managed to draw the once in a lifetime any weapon tag last year. Shot with rifle. It's a tough hunt in tough country. Similar to a mountain goat hunt but animals are more wary. I think the archery success state is like 3%. The hunt is a blast if you enjoy mountain hunting or want to experience sheep hunting at a lower price(i know, they are goats). These ibex were donated to the state of New Mexico from another country and have done well in the Florida mountains.
