The amount of bow hunting on tv is nice. Firstly, it's not as much fun watching guys make 100 yard pop shots on animals. Being that close to a big animal, regardless of whether or not it is on tv, is exciting. I think this is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the hiring community. Not that long ago bow hunting was considered "outdated" and "unethical". People viewed the sport as unnecessary and cruel to the animal. Through the efforts of people like you and me, bowhunting is now revered as a worthy sporting chance for both hunter and prey, and supplies states with much needed revenue. It is nice to see all the work of hunters like Fred Bear coming to fruition.

Amen to this! I've been bow hunting for a LONG time and have not put down a deer. I encounter shooters every year but rarely close enough for me to be comfortable. I could pick up the ole smoke pole and be done but there is something about the magic of bow hunting that I'm glad to see more and more of!

I like all the bow hunting but don't watch to many shows because they hunt and kill stuff that is nothing like I could ever kill. I want realistic hunts myself
Just like frumpy house wives in flannel pajamas is all the rage in adult film industry......
