    Camper Water Heater Question

Alright guys, I have the standard gas/electric 6gal water heater in the camper. Works great for me but Momma likes to take baths so 6gal just doesn't cut it. I got a 25gal water heater from the classified and plan on building an insulated enclosure next to the camper and tie the line into my hot water coming out of the current unit.

Here is my question, where do I get an adapter that will allow me to run PVC from the new water heater into the camper lines? I plan on splicing into the gray tubing coming out of the current heater and installing valves that lets me isolate the old heater from the new. Thoughts fellers?

At any hardware store. Your dealing in pipe fittings. They make PVC fittings that are 'slip x thread'. Pretty easy once you get the jest of it

Crap, I didn't think about that. I know when the fitting at the toilet broke it was a huge PITA to fix. Paid 4 times for a "RV" toilet connector what a normal one would be.

Do you want to use both at the same time (31 gallons) or pick between one or the other (6 or 25 gal)?

Whatever you do, keeping the pipes from freezing will be a challenge!

I say find a different wife that doesn't like to take baths!
