November 18 and my oaks are still loaded and dropping.

    What gives?

My deer vanish every year, nothing new. It usually happens at the first of bow season but they are always back by now. I had to turn one of my feeders off today because of corn piled up underneath. I started checking around the oaks and noticed there are still a ton of acorns in the trees that haven't fallen yet. Anyone else oaks still loaded and dropping?

I'm with you too. Deer still eat the corn, but it's all at night.

Ours are done dropping and there aren't very many in the ground. Deer are finally hitting feeders with regularity.

So when will it end? Never seen them hanging on this late. It looks like this all over my property.
