Absolutely the best duck hunting day I've had in years with Frank Valerio at Elephant Butte Lake today. 3 limits in less than an hour. All mallards and teal. One cinnamon wing. First man limited out in 10 minutes. Frank runs a legit operation. Check him out.

The river is really slow right now but Elephant Butte was awesome!

Good job Paul. We're hitting them pretty hard ourselves over here. A bit slow at times though. We need a couple more good hard northern fronts and the cool stick around for a while.

Lived in truth or consequence when I was younger used to bass fished that lake all the time some good memories for sure

Fellas I'm telling you. There's a thousand ducks on that portion of the lake and we're not even in the late season yet. I'll be there again next weekend for sure and then Brushy Hill over Thanksgiving. 7 years in Hawaii with 3 combat deployments kept me out of the woods and I'm making up for lost time.
