Please add my sincere prayers for his recovery from the fall.

I can not remember how many times in my 15 years of bowhunting I've done this for somebody who had an accident related to a tree stand. Please be careful folks. For myself, if I had to hunt from a tree stand, I'd take up stamp collecting on the weekends. Again, I pray the good Lord look after and heal him.

      Update:

Well after almost two months David is home and in good spirits. He finished up his first round of rehab at Tierr (sp) and will go back in February to learn how to become independent and take care of himself. He is paralyzed from the waist down, but the good news is he is still with us. He has handled this way better than I would have and he wanted me to thank all of you for the prayers.

He called this afternoon and wants to get out of the house for only the second time since he's been home. We are going to the camp and get him out just to clear his head and let him be in the outdoors.
He also will start the last class in his Masters program in education on Monday and will finish it before he goes back to Tierr February. I'm super proud of his resolve during this whole ordeal. He has a lot on his plate and needs continued prayers.
