Gun Smith or Gun Guru's some help please

Friend has a Uberti .45 colt replica, I was helping him shoot but it shoots left. The front site is a solid site, how can you adjust windage?

Actually you want to adjust the rear sight to the right if it's shooting left. Always confuses me, too.

Bingo, rear to the right. Simulate the sights with your fingers and see what you'd have to do with the front finger to go right

Doesn't have an adjustable rear sight.

Ditto. I have one too in .357 caliber. I shoot .38s through it because the .357 feels like it is gonna shake the gun apart.

It is the only gun that I cannot get to group no matter the ammo I fire through it. I'm not talking about hitting the bullseye. I mean group.

Anyone else know anything about these these?

Tighten the barrel. It will move the front sight left and move point of impact towards the right.

Your right there is no rear site to adjust. Do you know how you tighten the barrel?

What's the best way to tighten the barrel on a single action? I have a similar problem with a heritage arms revolver. I've thought about using one of those rubber strap wrenches, would that work?

You need a revolver barrel clamp and action clamp, or a gunsmith that has these tools. Don't try it yourself without the correct tools.

Goid enough, he is going to stop in a Carter Country to get it done.

                              Thanks CNG
