What is a good cull to shoot

If I was to hunt west of carizzo Springs 20 miles on a huge ranch, can't say the name, what would be a great cull to shoot. Can you send pictures. Don't want to shoot a trophy trophy which I know what they Look like. But what would be a solid cull at 5.5 years old.

Whatever the ranch foreman / guide tells you it is

    Good Luck

      A 5 year old 110in 8 point
      A deer with no brows
A deer with inferior genetics that even fully mature won't be a trophy...

      Etc...etc

Thats a loaded question. No way to help with out a ton more details. You should consult the people in charge of the property. If they are smart they will sit with you.

That sounds like a question for the guide or ranch owner.

Ask the deer experts on here, as the rest of us are wrong

A cull is different for every ranch. Find out what they consider a cull.

Most culls are born with tags in their ears.

Read the post about " guest mistakes "

Don't be that guy, they should have guidelines for you

Shoot whatever they tell you to.

If there is ANY doubt about what you are looking at DO NOT SHOOT!

If you are uncomfortable in your ability to correctly identify a deer say something. The people that end up being the BEST at managing and taking culls are the ones that can admit limitations and work to improve upon them.

Those are the ones that get invited back. Don't set yourself up to fail.

It takes 12 years to manage for a nice cull. Be patient.
