I am sold on the Grizztricks 2 !

I pulled up to the house tonight and my 12 year son Justin walks up to my truck and says " hey you want to help me track this doe I just shot". I asked him where he hit her and he said he thought it was good but didn't get much penetration. I said did you find blood and he said yea it's everywhere. So we went and started tracking and this deer went around and around up and down draws and finally dropped in a thick brush pile over 200 yards away. The arrow was still in her and when I saw where the shot placement was I can't believe we found her. He had hit her about mid way back and the arrow deflected and came out a even further back. The blood trail left by the broadhead was impressive. If not for the good blood trail with that shot placement we would have never found that deer.

I hope so. I made the switch this year but havent got to try them out yet... Unless you count the racoon I shot at 25 yards to increase my confidence.

This really speaks volumes for a Grizz as it is not intended for light poundage at all.

I shot my cull with one this year, he was old tough deer, but he made it 176 paces headed downhill before crashing. I really didn't care since he left a blood trail 2' wide I followed at a walk in the dark. I'm sold on them being a devastating fixed blade head. Easy to resharpen and put back into action also.
