When ever there are fluctuations in gas prices that get you riled up you must first and foremost blame the gov. Because they ( local, state, federal)mandate stupid fuel blends for different areas of the country. Then speculators come into play and very last on any list should be the suppliers( if you must)

Yesterday I came home for lunch, needed gas, but decided I would get gas after lunch. Jumped from $2.84 to $2.99 at every station on my way back to work. In Richardson.

I did that 3 years ago. I filled up the Prius for $25 bucks and get 44-47 mpg. I have my 2011 f250 hooked up to our horse trailer full time now. I drive the Prius to the ranch whenever I can. This gives me more money for ammo
I have been paying from .88 to as high as 1.98 since summer. I average about 1.29 for my F150 - CNG that is. I have not bought gas for my truck since I filled up in Sept. Round trip for home to the lease south of Childress is over 400 miles round trip - cost me about $45 to make the trip on CNG.

2.75 is the lowest I have seen in Laredo. Today at HEB.

Get ready for higher prices. Now that you know this.... you will not have to ask why they jumped all of a sudden.
And now.... you know the rest of the story

They usually jack the price up for every holiday.

why can they speculate prices in the future on fuel during so called peaks (holidays) but during natural disasters (hurricanes) plywood, fuel prices cant be raised or its price gouging? I know supply and demand and different circumstance but it's still the same, raise your price/profit margin during a time of need or more use,so quit telling us it's winter/summer blend more production needed just say we wanna stroke you cause we can what ever happened to all those senate hearings on that? swept under the rug?

Difference between Capitalism and price fixing. Most likely because of the Thanksgiving Holiday coming on.
