Triple beam buck. What causes it?

Awesome mount! If he hadn't put on that little point, I wonder if he could have tagged that deer as a un branched antler!

Good question, I had a 10 with a small unbranched third beam but never got a shot oppertunity only TC sightings.

I asked around here and the answer was mostly no, that all 13" plus deer are tagged as such.

Now a 12" deer with a third unbranced antler....
