They cannot resist the temptation of the banana kryptonite.
Went to go pick up my truck yesterday in San Angelo (long story) and decided to spend the evening working on the finishing touches..ie tinning up my coon cages to keep the bandits out and trimming some viewing/shooting lanes. I brought the coon kryptonite and set the traps on my way out. I sure do get some funny looks buying these things. Guess i need to start throwin' in a RoC Cola.....
Got my work done.... I was pretty much spent clearing some cedars and in my haste to set the traps forgot to take the before pics.
Came back this am and the first trap was still in the up position...looked around the corner and........we have a CUSTOMER.....
He was a mean little bugger but no match for the Walther. The coons got 1 on the board this weekend because in my haste, I put the set rod in a bind when getting it ready for trap #2 so the little bandit got my moon pie for free.
Won't happen again......
Since it doesn't happen without pics, I made sure it "happened" this time.
Sleeping with a belly full of kryptonite....
Sleeping harder with the lead poisoning that comes as a side dish with the moon pie.
On a side note my new setup across the lease has five more of the dudes. To take a quote from Sheriff Body on Jaws....I think we're gonna have to get a bigger trap.

). He also changed the thermostat and cleaned out the condensor coils to make the compressor work more efficiently.... I ran it hard for a good bit on the way back into SA and it was a different truck and ac system.
