    That was expensive...

    Just finished up destroying about 25k worth of ceramic plates. Really wish I could of shipped some of them home!

    That is a shame though

    I assume better destroyed than turned over to the natives ??

        Well..... State Department wanted them destroyed because they didn't have the manufactured date on them. They're only "good" for a certain number of years and there wasn't any way to determine the date.

        I suggested they let us take them to the range and open up on em with the belt fed's, but that was a no go

        It sure was a shame to break them all up...

        I'm out in the northwestern part of Afghanistan right now.

                    Makes sense now, you leave them there intact and the bad guys end up wearing the good stuff. Too bad you don't have a small dozer to do the crushing for you.

                            Badakhchan is northeast. I'm in Herat, it's about 60 miles off the Iranian border. Starting to get chilly out here at night.
