Rattling- A tactic over used?

Bob Ramsey is the man who got me started using skunk scent for a cover scent. That guy could definitely rattle them up.

same things can be said about the use of scents also. Doe in estrus being used too soon may just scare them away.

Every mature buck I have rattled in was at the end of the pre rut till the full rut. And ive rattled in a few and killed a few doing it.
