    What do you think?

I so feel for the kids but at the same time I'd like to see the parents of these children brought up on child abuse. To birth a child into the world of a FEMA trailer knowing they are on hard times and the dangers they would be exposing that child to seem criminal to me and analagous as birthing a child by a mom on crack or something. I hope these children are helped but gosh those parents make me furious. Where's the personal responsibility? And I do not think our govt. is responsible for the parents mistakes either, but yes I want the kids to get some care due to their parents brutal mistake. FEMA should be passing out mandatory birth control while in temporary housing... Arghhhh....

on a more happy note, we will be getting a Margaritaville Casino replacing the Trump. Buffet is cool.

i seen article from the news from may 07 about the issue. Some folks just dont care when they bring a child into this world. I hate to say but i think all they are concearn about is the making part.

If these idiots had any sense in the first place, they wouldn't have been living in a FEMA trailer. Certainly they would have found a way out of them by now. Expecting them to stop and think before they birth another litter is expecting WAY too much from them.

Mandatory sterilization is the only way to go. You have to have a license to hunt and fish or drive a car, but any jackass can procreate as long as their plumbing works. It makes no sense.

Wow! I think we are throwing the stones in the wrong direction here. I did relief work in MS after Katrina. Most of the people who lived in the trailers (that I came across at least) were not as fortune as many of us finacially and they really had no choice but to live there. Remember they had just been through a disaster and were trying to put thier lives back together. This lady may have already been pregnant at the time of the storm.

If you are going to throw stones throw them at FEMA. This is a government agency run by supposedly competent people that we pay to protect us in times of emergency. If they can't do a better job, then they should appropriate the money to Church run organizations, the Salvation Army, Red Cross etc. I am just a young man, but from my experience when the goverment gets involved in something they generally screw it up.

It says the baby girl is 15 months old. Was she in the ladies tummy for 4 years prior to being born, I thought it was 9 months?

What dont they understand about temporary housing? Is that a 5 year deal, 10 year deal? When does temporary stop?

Good point. I missed that she was 15 months old NOW. It seems that FEMA set up this housing, but had no method of encouraging folks to get out. Same with welfare

I don't have anything nice to say about this topic so I'll just be quiet. I will say that Katrina and Rita were a while ago and anyone with any sense of responsibility and "want to" to get their life back together would have done so by now as thousands already have. Some people just have their hand out and always will.

This was my point. HH94 just said it better than I did.

If I found me and my family having to live in a FEMA trailer, you can **** well believe I would do everything in my power to get us out ASAP.
