    Got me and idea

Just need some input. Here it goes I thought bout surprising my gf with a bow but don't know what kind of bow to get or where to even start. I don't know if she would even like to go or not she loves going with me to the woods.

With that being said what do y'all say?

I think before I invested the money, I'd make sure she is interested in shooting it. Maybe give her a picture of one and talk to her about it.

Take her to a shop and let her test drive some and she if she likes it. Then come back here for the classifides.

The right idea here is to get a bow that is extremely adjustable, here's the reasons:

        - You have no idea what her draw length is or how much weight she can pull
        - If she ends up not liking it you can crank up the pounds, back out the draw length and shoot it yourself.
        - If/when you decide to sell it later the super adjustable bows are always in demand.

I bought my wife a Bear Apprentice II last year and it has been great. There are several good ones out there by Mission/Bear/Diamond/Hoyt.

          Yes, this is logical thinking.

She needs to pick it out or let it pick her,so a trip to the archery shop is in order

I bought my wife a mission craze. Very adjustable without the need of a press.

surprised my wife with a hoyt cobalt, she had never been bowhunting.....she loves it, and like previously mentioned it is plenty adjustable since I didnt know all the specs for her.

Are you doing it more because you like to bowhunt, or because you truly believe she would flip if you got her a bow?
I've bought a bow for two different girlfriends. First one was because "I" thought it would be cool if we hunted together. She threw a fit when I asked her to climb up a tree. lol. Second girl showed interest and enjoyed it, I believe she still hunts. From my experience I'd say support their interest and don't try to change a woman.
Lastly, I won't buy a bow for another woman until she's my wife.

Diamond Infinite Edge is $349 @ Cabelas (They even have it in pink), and you can always return it if she doesn't adopt the sport.

Well I took her to a bow shop and told her to draw them back so "I" could see how they looked when she found one that looked good for her but she told me that she wouldn't bow hunt but would gun hunt!

My wife's first bow was a used Hoyt youth bow. It came with to sets of limbs so you could change the poundage. She now shoots a Mathews Jewel.
