    Where to buy Railroad Ties?

I've looked on craigslist and found some but they are a long way away? Where in the weatherford/ ft worth area would you look to buy some?

    I'm needing 60 8ft

I guess telephone poles would work also

I'm building an area that is 80ft x 40 ft for the kids to have a volleyball sand court and if, just if, it gets cold enough another...........

One of our firefighters wife's works for a Railroad Construction company that refurbishes rail lines. Do they have to be in perfect shape? Can you pick them up in the Ennis area??

They do not have to be in perfect condition.\
Ennis would be too far I think. That's a couple hours for me and that's probably too far to go hauling that much weight. There is a place in Sunnyvale that has them for $13 a pop and less if you buy quantity but that's even a haul from here

used to be a place in Tolar that had them all stacked up. Don't know the name. You might have to drive over a check it out. If not McCoy's has used ones for 13.50 a piece which is what decent used go for.

            None needed.
The loser of the hockey game was required to hose the ice down so it refreezes and is smooth again so that would take the place of the Zam.
I'm sure we'll have a bunch of little "Hosers" running around since both of Wyatt's teams said they will be here if we get the ice set

Really, I had no clue you could get them from a store for that cost

I've gotten the telephone poles from tri-county before. They have them at the yard in Azle. Sell by the foot and you have to cut them and load them yourself.
I assume that they still do that but I don't know what the price is now and don't remember what I paid for them back then.

McCoys carries them if one is near you.
