Public land shooter or not

I have this buck on trail cam and a day light encounter with him. He is a small tined 8 but pretty wide. I hunt on fort hood and its poorly managed at best public land. I know he will make it this season because the are is met it's quota for the season. My guess is he is at lest 4. Any help on the age and to shoot or not would be appreciated.

Same boat brother we have 5 bucks and 8 does left and tge bucks might be gone this weekend

It's really tough now with the rifle hunters. Everything is tagging out quick. I have some more to choose from.
