    Primos wind check

It is failing me in epic proportions. It claims east wind and in reality it's dead out the North.
Hosed by Primos, who knew lol

The little white poweder or fibers from milkweed pods won't fail you

It is not based at your current location. It gets the data from a place close to your location.

I use it and it's been pretty accurate, but I always keep my wind checker in my back pack just in case. I also tie a light bird feather or turkey feather with a string on my stabilizer that I can watch when my bow is hanging. Good luck!

That's why I use the powder wind checker... That doesn't lie!!!

I heard the Primos wind checker is owned by a gravy trainer...

I use both, the app can't possibly give you 100% accurate wind data. What I do like is it pulls up the maps quicker than the maps on my phone, so it's nice to use it for that feature as well. Overall, I like the app.

I use the app mostly to check the wind from camp so I know what stand to hunt prior to leaving.

Don't feel too bad. Weather man said the wind was going to plow out of the perfect direction for one of my stands. Got settled and noticed it was out of the worst possible direction for that stand
I don't put much faith in weather men or apps. Powder, feather or any other method you can personally use is your best bet
