So here is the next related thread and how the story starts:

Potential Leasee leaves note on gate with contact info

A few days later he recieves a call saying sure I would love to lease the place to you for duck hunting but we are not sure of what to charge!

Leasee, excited that he got a response, says oh I would be willing to pay $***x.00 to have the place for duck hunting!

Person says, that sounds fair, the place is not using being used now anyway! Send the money order to the following address.....


A few weeks later, leasee is happily busting the hail outta ducks when the owner shows up and asks who you are what are you doing on my land?

Leasee, I sent you a money order to such and such address!

Landowner, I never talked to you or received anything in the mail. Now get the heck off my land before I call the authorities, you dang poacher!

Hahahaha-wow! Well, I got a return phone call from the fella. Super nice guy, by the way. Looks like a struck out for now. He actually drained the 9 acre lake and dug it out to double the size! So, it's dry at the moment. He did give me a really good lead on a duck hole though;-)! Like I said, super nice guy!
