Still guys, we can argue all day long, but all of these numbers are worthless (some more than others), without a full tally of how many dogs there are out there.
I will say this:
A: The media, is hopeless, they will print whatever stories, they think will get the most views. IE, most money. Even if they have to twist the facts.
B: I bet that most things come from how a dog is raised. I mean, who is more likely to take more care of there dog, the hunter who bought his dog for $800, or the guy who got his pit bull for some cocaine he traded.
The scary dogs used to be those oh so scary Nazi dogs, Doberman Pinchers. And people who wanted a tough/scary dog got them. And in turn did not treat them as family pets, but as guard dog security machines. So they got mean, same deal with Pit Bulls. And the media reported them both as scary.
