    Cut on contact or Chisel?

I am considering changing broadheads to go to a larger cutting Dia. Without getting into a free for all over brands, opinions on the difference of cut on contact vs. chisel. I am shooting about 62lbs.

Depends. What weight arrow and speed its flying. What animal?

IMO, Cut on contact points seem to penetrate better but chisel points stretch the hide before cutting and leave bigger entry holes. Either one will work fine, just find one that flies true and choose that one.

I like a solid ferrell. Blades of the broad head do the cutting. Tip's main function is to break any bone it comes in contact with.

You will be well served to shoot a cut on contact.
