I second Steve Lancaster in Brownwood. Mounted my buck in about 7 months and did an amazing job. His attention to detail is second to none. Saw some awesome cats in there while I was dropping my horns off. I live north of Dallas, but he will be the only one mounting anything for me from now on.

I cant find a pic any where but the coolest one i have seen is a bobcat coming out of a hollow stump after a javelina.

No sir, not mine. I got that pic off of a TBH thread about bobcats as pets. I kept that pic for awhile now because I love it. I would like to have one mounted like that someday.

I like the idea and layout of this one...but something looks off with the neck. Like it's too skinny?

I couldn't agree with you more. The neck is too long and skinny. I swapped heads and didn't catch the awkwardness until it was too late. I think it was the fourth cat I've ever done and prolly the last I will ever do. Mad props to the guys that can alter taxidermy forms and keep all the features exact, that's really an art form in itself.
