    2 weeks and counting!

Well family in 2 weeks I will be hunting in NW Wisconsin.. Any of you have any experience, expertise to share. I have never hunted in a free-form, non-baited type of hunt. In WI, they allow you to hand feed the area you will hunt, but from what I am gathering our friends family is just going to drop us off in the woods and basically stalk/climb when I find the right spots.... No real guide action plus we will be hunting some public land. One thing I have been told is the public land near the families home is so far out there it's almost non-public by means of access.

I am a little nervous about this one. For the past 3 years I have seen photos from my friends family showing massive bucks being taken by them, so I know the deer are there. I have only been hunting now since 2010. That being said I really worry about the experience level/understanding I have on this solo type flight. I have always hunted with a few of my buddies (BigStick, Kazrep and a few other TBH'ers). BigStick is the reason I am here. He turned me onto hunting in 2010. Really this is an experience I would love to have him with me on, but it's weening time he says!

Any help/advice on how to handle this one would be appreciated. I am posting this now so in case i need any therapy/counseling, or need to buy anything to help in this adventure I will be able to get it done.

BTW I will be hunting with both my Sako A7 and my Excalibur Xtreme XBow. I am taking my Bowtech Insanity as well if my shoulders feel up to the pull.....

Thanks for everyone comment ahead of time. I really appreciate it.

      Thanks Brian..

I guess the thing I am worried the most about is the actual tracking/finding a good spot to setup. I don't want to freeze to death for nothing
