Have a hunt idea but need help...

As some of ya'll know, I live and hunt in Nevada. I do backcountry hunts every year after muleys and elk and love living out of my pack for a week at a time.

Here is what I would like to do...just like Steven Rinella (Meat Eater) did in one of his episodes, I would like to chase aoudad in west Texas via my pack and boot leather.

Does anybody know where I can access some land (with a nominal fee hopefully)? I don't need a guide, lodging, transportation, etc. Just a place I can pack in for a few miles, stretch my legs, and chase some sheep.

Look up trespass fee aoudad hunts on google lots of people will let you do a tresspass hunt for a minimal fee something along the lines of a few hundred bucks. I have really thought about it just haven't broke down to do it yet.

Well nevermind I was going to pull up a ranch I had book marked from a couple of years ago but I can not seem to find it again. It was 750 for a trespass hunt. Might PM Cuz on here as I know he does do some aoudad hunts out in the big bend area.

I grew up hunting Amistad. I am hunting it as well this year.

I need some different scenery, more rugged mountains, and bigger sheep.

Hey if you find something but need more people (make it worth it to the land owner) let me know. I have 2-3 for sure.

I hunted his place that borders big bend this year and it sounds like what you want.. Rough country and he lets people do the self guided camp thing. There are no roads to spot from the truck either so people haven't driven and pressured them only hiked.

I missed my sheep but a guy ended up with him a couple weeks later and I believe was 31-32
