Anybody ever hunt Mule Deer between Dryden and Langtry ?

Been invited down to hunt Mule deer down that way. What are some do's and don'ts. What should I expect? I have seen some mounts from the place and liked what I seen.

Haven't hunted there specifically but chased lots of muleys and been through there more than a few times. I would take a rifle as hunting out there looks like it would be really really tough doing spot and stalk stuff. If he has some feeders set up for hunting with a bow then that should be an easy hunt as muleys are no where near as spooky as whitetails are.

Make sure your spare tire is in good shape. It's rough country out there.

Hydrate if you are going to be walking!!! Everything out there has thorns on it so be prepared for that... Should be great hunting out there as it is greener than I have ever seen it. Good luck!!!
