3d Printers near Tomball?

We are looking to make a prototype out of plastic and we are looking at whether to purchase a printer or to have it printed for us. Are there any companies near Tomball, Tx that would print this for us?

What benefit would there be to purchasing a printer as opposed to farming our printing out? We are looking at a pretty large quantity of prototypes, is why I ask.

The technology is changing fast so I may be behind but printing isn't ( wasn't? ) suited for production of quantities. Molding is much cheaper and faster. I don't personally know of anyone around Tomball that does it commercially.

Not looking to print a bunch of one unit. Just looking to print a bunch of little parts to make one unit of a prototype. For production it would really need to be molding like you said. Houston would be fine as well. Just looking for someone relatively near to Tomball.
