    3D Boar Target

I'm looking at getting a 3d boar target for both broadheads and field points and was wanting to know what everyone thought was the best target for that. I have a Rinehart Woodland Buck that I like so I looked at their Boar Razorback target and the price seemed a little steep. Thanks for the help!

The Rinehart boar target is by far the best target that will stand up to broadheads. The reason it's more expensive is because the entire target is made of the same self-healing material that the Woodland Buck insert is made from. The rest of the Woodland Buck is made from a less dense material that won't hold up as long as the self-healing foam. In my opinion, it's well worth the extra money if you're going to shoot broadheads into it. Also, when you shoot it out, you can just buy a new insert for it, at a fraction of the cost of a new target.

Drop the money and get a Rhinehart as mentioned. You'll be money ahead.

I would definately pass on the one Academy sells. I shot about 15 shots into it from 20 and 30 yards with a draw weight of 66 pounds and its pretty much wrecked. After the first 10 arrows, big chunks started flying out of it and I was getting pass throughs. I am going to try a repair kit this Spring.
