For those in non doe AR counties - was it unusually quiet and slow

Here in Caldwell county only Heard one shot this morning. Saw 4 doe in the morning and nothing rest of the day. Anyone else experience slow and quiet opening day?

Where I was hunting bucks were chasing. Burned my cull tag this morning.

Not here outside Columbus. Lots of deer, does and small bucks.Deer moved all day pretty much. Hogs came out early and wife shot a big old sow and I got a smaller sow.Heard quite a few shots.Gonna try again in the morning.

I took an 8 this morning in grimes and another guy hunting took a 9 that was broke (could of been a 10) . Lots of chasing going on. Mine was at 12:45pm his was right about 8:30 am.
