I'm getting fed up with treestand hunting. I would rather be in a tree than groundblind if the weather permits, but I need to figure out what the heck is going on.
Tonight I saw a buck coming in(not sure if I would've shot him or not), I reached for my bow...and just shifting weight from one buttcheek to the other made a noise....and BUSTED. This has happened multiple times the last couple seasons.
I have a swivellimb and a game tamer. I oiled both at the beginning season with WD40. What gives?
Anyone have suggestions on what I can do? And in particular, what I can do without disrupting my hunting area?
Also, any suggestions for a treestand that is comfortable AND quiet?
Many thanks.
