Headed to Belize tomorrow!!!

Headed down to Belize for our 5th wedding anniversary. Plan to do a few, maybe 3 days of flyfishing. I might do a "live" trip if the signal allows. Anyone been recently? Anything I absolutely need to do with the wife?

If you are on Ambergris hand feed the tarpon at Sunset Grill. Quick, easy and the wife will enjoy it for sure. You really don't need a guide if you're after bonefish depending on where you're staying. I had no idea what I was doing and caught more fish without a guide than with. Grass flats at daybreak around the resort were loaded with tailing bones and a few permit. Have fun in paradise!

Ambergris Caye, we are staying at the Victoria House.

Ambergris Caye, we are staying at the Victoria House.

We stayed there on our honeymoon. Had a blast. Awesome place with great people. We even did apparently a frowned upon saltwater crocodile feeding deal put on by some locals. Didn't know it was bad until after but it was awesome. We both touched a wild salt water croc that was about 12' long.

Ask about the restaurant that feeds the tarpon. It was really cool too

Wife caught the biggest fish today, tomorrow I target bones and permit.
