    Cost to retile 3x4 shower?

    Any tile setters on the GS?

    Anybody had anything similar done recently?

              that is a little low, i charge atleast 2 a square foot and thats on floors, walls are done by bid only. reason being is there is to much variation from one job to the next.

                  Whe you say retile is that removing the old and having to prep. If so I can't imagine getting it done for 2.00 a sq ft. a 3x4 is only 12sq ft and just the gas alone to go and do it doesn't make sense to me.

                        There are many other factors to be considered with remodeling work costs. Not just cost per square foot for installation.

                          there are a little more than 12 sq ft in a 3x4 shower....more like 70-75 sq ft depending on the height of the walls and the size of the curb....saying that $2 a square ft is still cheep. I wouldn't do the job for any less than $800 if I had to tear the old stuff out and the customer bought the materials....

                            Your right on the sq ft and you are probably right in line on your cost if you don't have to remove green sheetrock and install hardie board prior to installing tile.
