I just got a 2013 spyder 30 a few months back.. Im going to be sticking with it.. It shoots better than any bow i have ever owned.. Im going to up my arrows to FMJ340s and either shoot 125 grain solid-broadheads, VPAs, or German Kenetics..

Yep mark seems like a great guy. The place I am going is the same place Tom Miranda shot his bison.

Man oh man, I dug this thread back up as getting a bison is painful. I met with two bison outfitters today...both free range but not recognized by P&Y as you know. The Lamar, Colorado ranch was 40 acres of low fence/free range. The place in Oklahoma was 5K acres and also low fence. Both had a few huge bulls and neither was going to be a gimme bowhunt as the bison have been there for over a decade. I am going to Sikanni website (they only have 6 permits per year)now as three indian reservations I contacted are hard to get draw hunts as they take so few hunters per year. Arizona and Utah are incredibly hard to get a tag for also.

Ha this post was silly. I don't even have that now. I have a carbon spyder turbo with80# limbs. And I may get one of the new elites when they come out in oct/nov?? I love my energy 35 better than my carbon spyder but I love the speed of the Hoyt

LMAO........I can relate. Things are constantly changing in the archery industry (for the better) especially with 2 year timelines.

I think we discussed it elsewhere but my Wyoming bison will cost about $6000-7000 with tags, guide and airfare. They are free range but you have to draw.

I did look on line Doc, I was hoping for this winter though. Found a place (and visited last week) in Colorado that is 40,000 acres free range that has had bison for 20 years and only hunt about 2-3 per year. I am attempting to do a combo hunt with them for mountain lion about 3 hours west of the ranch in Lamar. I hate that it wont officially make NORTH AMERICAN 29 but it definitely will be a serious bowhunt in some rough ravines.
